Predicting Breast Cancer Survivability

this study concentrates on Predicting Breast Cancer Survivability using data mining, and comparing between three main predictive modeling tools. Precisely, we used three popular data mining methods: two from machine learning (artificial neural network and decision trees) and one from statistics (logistic regression), and aimed to choose the best model through the efficiency of each model and with the most effective variables to these models and the most common important predictor. We defined the three main modeling aims and uses by demonstrating the purpose of the modeling. By using data mining, we can begin to characterize and describe trends and patterns that reside in data and information. The preprocessed data set contents were of 87 variables and the total of the records are 457,389; which became 93 variables and 90308 records for each variable, and these dataset were from the SEER database. We have achieved more than three data mining techniques and we have investigated all the data mining techniques and finally we find the best thing to do is to focus about these data mining techniques which are Artificial Neural Network, Decision Trees and Logistic Regression by using SAS Enterprise Miner 5.2 which is in our view of point is the suitable system to use according to the facilities and the results given to us. Several experiments have been conducted using these algorithms. The achieved prediction implementations are Comparison-based techniques. However, we have found out that the neural network has a much better performance than the other two techniques. Perception and Opinion of Customers towards Automated Teller Machine Services with Special Reference to Kurdistan Region

Modern technology has changed human life by making it faster and easier. Technology innovation emerged as source of competitive strength and can achieve success through new innovation. ATM plays vital role in banking industry by providing all necessary banking facilities in easy and handy way to their customers at their doorstep. As Kurdistan is growing economy, therefore to assess perception and expectation of ATM customers, 315 respondents from different places of Kurdistan region were taken into consideration. This study is based on personal approach and observation. Structured questionnaire administered after taking opinion and modification by banking personal, customer discussion and review of literatures. For the convenience of respondents Likert measurement scales was used. To identify most service quality dimensions in connection with overall customer satisfaction; reliability test, descriptive analysis, correlation and coefficient and regression analysis test and ANOVA tests are done through SPSS 25.0. At the end it is concluded that most of factors are positively, significantly correlated with overall customer satisfaction. The Importance of Scientific Research Study and its Application in Students' Research

أن الإلمام بمناهج البحث العلمي وأساليبه وتقنياته وإجراءاته أصبح من الأهمية بمكان لأي حقل من حقول المعرفة ، ومن خلال استقراء الواقع داخل الجامعات والمعاهد العليا والتي من بينها مجتمع الدراسة الحالية والإطلاع على بحوث التخرج المنجزة من قبل طلاب هذه المؤسسات وإجراء المقابلات مع شريحة كبيرة منهم داخل هذه لمؤسسات وجد أن هناك ثمة صعوبات وعوائق تحول دون التطبيق الصحيح والسليم لأساليب وتقنيات البحث العلمي عند إعداد البحوث والدراسات العلمية ويمكن حصر هذه الصعوبات في الآتي :عدم الاهتمام بدراسة مادة مناهج البحث العلمي وعدم اعتبارها من المواد المهمة كباقي المواد الدراسية. قلة الخبرات والكفاءات من أعضاء هيئة التدريس لتدريس مادة مناهج وأساليب البحث العلمي. عدم اقتناع الطلبة بأهمية مادة مناهج البحث وأساليب البحث العلمي واعتباره من المواد غير المهمة. ضعف إلمام الطلبة بأساليب ووسائل البحث العلمي. ضعف دور المشرفين على الطلبة إما لحداثة خبرتهم أو للأعباء الكبيرة المطلوبة منهم مع تعدد البحوث المكلفين بالإشراف عليها. عدم تطبيق أساليب البحث العلمي وتقنياته والتي تتم دراستها في مادة مناهج البحث العلمي عند إجراء البحوث. قلة المراجع والمصادر المتعلقة بمناهج وأساليب البحث العلمي. عدم مواكبة التطورات وخاصة التكنولوجية منها والتي تستخدم في البحث العلمي.  وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من التوصيات التي يراها الباحثان ضرورية ومنها  تكليف أساتذة متميزين في مجال البحث العلمي لتدريس هذه المادة. توفير المزيد من المراجع المتنوعة والمتخصصة في مجال مناهج وتطبيقات البحث العلمي. تكليف الطلبة بإجراء البحوث العلمية المستندة إلى مبادئ البحث العلمي في معظم المواد الدراسية لزيادة مهاراتهم البحثية .      - التركيز على البحوث التطبيقية لمعالجة المشاكل التي تعاني منها كافة المؤسسات. حث الجهات والمؤسسات العامة والخاصة على التعاون مع الباحثين خصوصا الطلبة منهم عند إعداد مشروعات التخرج .  قامة مؤتمر سنوي لبحوث التخرج ألمتميزة يمنح فيها أصحاب البحوث المتميزة مزايا مادية ومعنوية مثل( قلادة الإبداع لفئة الشباب).  The knowledge of scientific research methods,( methods, techniques and procedures), has become important for any field of knowledge, and by extrapolating the reality within universities and higher institutes, including the current study community and to see the research completed by the students of these institutions and interviews with a large segment of students within these institutions It was found that there are difficulties and obstacles that prevent suitable application of methods and techniques of scientific research in the preparation of research and scientific studies, These difficulties can be summarized as follows:Lack of interest in the study of scientific research. - Lack of expertise of faculty members to teach the curriculum and methods of scientific research.
